Burger Shop 2
What does randomization do to this game?
All recipes, powerups, and stages are included in the item pool. Like Burger Shop, a majority of these items are food recipes which make the game more difficult, and will be labeled as trap items in the item pool.
- Food items and recipes — breakfast sandwiches, cereals, donuts, and hot drinks; lunch burgers, sides, drinks, shakes, sundaes, and snack trays; dinner plates, pasta, pizza, salads, soups, and desserts are locked until received. Customer orders update in real-time to only include unlocked recipes, so customers will never ask for something you haven't found yet.
- Level access is gated by Progressive Burger Shop keys. The first 15 levels are always accessible; each key received unlocks the next 15.
- Customer items — Dog Biscuit, Shirt, and Menu are included in the item pool for the Dog Lover, Shirtless Guy, and Old Chap.
- Workstation, BurgerBot, and Lollipops are items in the pool that must be found before they can be used.
- Powerups (Lollipop, Speed, Happy, Money, Freeze, Cone) are individual items. Each powerup will be available in all levels once it is unlocked.
What is the goal when randomized?
Beat the final three Story Mode levels (118, 119, and 120). This requires all 7 Progressive Burger Shop 2 keys.
Which items can be in another player's world?
- Progressive Burger Shop (7 copies) — level access keys
- Customer items — Dog Biscuit, Shirt, Menu
- Food items — all breakfast, lunch, and dinner recipes
- Gameplay upgrades — Workstation, BurgerBot, Lollipops, Lollipop Powerup, Speed Powerup, Happy Powerup, Money Powerup, Freeze Powerup, Cone Powerup
- Filler — Lucky Penny (and bonus recipes when the Bonus Recipes option is enabled)
What does another world's item look like in Burger Shop 2?
The Archipelago client window shows a notification whenever an item is received. Customer orders update automatically — starting or restarting a level will reflect any newly unlocked recipes. Powerup changes take effect immediately without requiring a level restart.
