Where is the options page?
You can configure your randomization options on the Cursed Words Player Options page.
What does randomization do to this game?
In this Cursed Words randomizer, all Characters, Stickers, Stamps and Tile Types will be received in a non-standard order:
- Characters will be locked until received from the multiworld
- Stickers and Stamps will not be purchasable in the shop until received from the multiworld.
- Tile Types will not appear in grids until received from the multiworld.
What is the goal of Cursed Words when randomized?
The currently available goal is to win runs with each selected character that has been set in the Options YAML. More goals coming soon...
Which items can be in another player's world?
The currently available items for this randomizer are:
- Characters -> Playable characters will unlock and be available in the character selection menu.
- Sticker / Stamp Bundles -> Sets of Stickers and Stamps will unlock and become purchasable in the shop.
- Tile Types -> Types of tiles will unlock and be able to spawn on grids and in the shop.
- Sticker / Stamp Slots -> Sticker and Stamp inventory slots will unlock and be able to hold stickers and stamps.
- Grid Re-rolls -> The amount of grid re-rolls per encounter will be increased.
- Money -> Additional money, when received during a run.
What does another world's item look like in Cursed Words?
Items from other worlds do not currently take any visible appearance in-game, but are found by completing objectives such as:
- Winning encounters with each character
- Submitting words with specific tile lengths
- Submitting words with score amounts
- Buying, Selling and Re-Stocking the Shop
In a future update, items will be available to purchase in the shop and will therefore have a visible appearance.
When the player receives an item, what happens?
Currently, all received items are automatically applied and immedately become available to use/purchase.
How many items can I find or receive in my world?
Currently, with the first 6 implemented characters, there are up to 118 different Locations and Items available. More locations and items planned for future updates...
