Elden Ring Nightreign

Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

A list of all games you have generated can be found on the User Content page.

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.

Unlock for me

For new files: this ensures that bosses are unlocked in-game, bypassing the natural progression that Fromsoft intended for the player to follow. This permanently alters files - highly recommended you not use this option for a file you intend to play online.

Goal

Goal

What this slot needs to accomplish to complete its goal. "Night Aspect" (default): defeat Night Aspect - the vanilla game's own ending/credits boss. "All Bosses All Characters": defeat every boss with every included character. A titanic goal. "All Bosses": defeat every included Nightlord at least once, with any character. "Random": requires a random subset of objectives. With Check Style set to Boss per Character, each objective is a specific boss with a specific character; otherwise each is just a boss. Every goal except Night Aspect covers exactly what's in Included Nightlords and Included Characters, and each included Everdark Sovereign counts as its own boss.

Extra Checks

Win Count Checks

If enabled, adds extra checks for winning a cumulative number of Expeditions this seed, regardless of which boss or character was defeated - at 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, and 10 total wins, then every 5 wins after that up to win_count_up_to (e.g. win_count_up_to=21 also adds 15, 20, and 21). Never required for the goal. Only the checks up to 5 wins can hold progression items; the later ones only ever hold filler or traps, so nobody is stuck waiting on you to grind wins.
