Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Goal

Required Route

Main route of the game required to win. normal_ending: Awaken all 4 elementals to open the Sanctum, then get all 4 Sanctum Hits to reach the end of Sanctum secret_ending: Reach the end of Sanctum with all 109 Star Pieces in your possession all_gems: Gather 12 of each gem type

Checks

Enable Gemsanity

If enabled, gems can be found anywhere instead of their vanilla locations.

Enable Notesanity

Turn all music notes in the game into location checks. Music puzzles will be filled progressively from stoney cliffs to frozen spire.

Shuffle Elemental Quests

If enabled, completing a god's quests will grant a random item, and awakening the elementals will be shuffled into the item pool.

Shuffle Big Bell Hits

If enabled, hitting a Big Bell will grant a random item, and the bell hits will be shuffled into the item pool. You still need all 4 bell hits to break the Beast Bell Stone.

Shuffle Sanctum Shards Hit

If enabled, hitting the shards in Sanctum will grant a random item, and the shard hits will be shuffled into the item pool. You need all 4 shard hits to reach the end of Sanctum.

Summon Phoenix Anywhere

You can summon the Phoenix in any non-overworld location by pressing: 'E', if you have the Phoenix Flute.

Filler Composition

Determines what items are sent as Filler, allowing you to make faster progress depending on the option selected. Default: only allows Seashells as filler. Extra Goodies: adds Ancient Keys, Star Pieces, and Gems to the filler pool. Only Goodies: replaces the entire filler pool with Ancient Keys, Star Pieces and Gems.

Extra Checks

Enable Locksanity

Turn all locks in the game into location checks. This includes big 3x locks, all Rune Stone locks, and other specialty locks

Turn all snake blocks in the game into location checks. (Snake block = Green directional block with an arrowhead on top)

Randomizer

Alt Room Randomizer

When enabled, the game chooses random alternate rooms from the selection in 'Alt Rooms' This folder is copied from the apworld into the modded program folder (Should be different than the steam install) though you copy the 'Alt Rooms' folder and place it there yourself. Start Inventory

Start with these item's locations prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.

Start with these locations and their item prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.

Excluded Locations

Prevent these locations from having an important item.

Priority Locations

Prevent these locations from having an unimportant item.
