Mirror's Edge
Randomizer Summary
Faith has forgotten how to parkour and sprint! Progression has been decoupled from standard Time Trial advancement and distributed in the multiworld. Instead of unlocking trials by going through the story and achieving qualifying times, you must find specific Level Unlocks to progress.
Players begin with 5 starting levels (or all levels in Open World mode). Faith starts with severely limited capabilities; her movement maneuvers must be received as items. This means her ability to navigate and complete trials depends on the items you have received. Each trial contains its own unique set of location checks.
Progression is both horizontal and vertical. As you receive Level Unlocks, your pool of available location checks grows. However, your ability to clear those checks depends on having the necessary movement items, requiring you to prioritize specific trials based on Faith's current capabilities.
Goals are tied to Runner Bags, acting as the "macguffin" items for this game. The player must receive a configurable amount to either win or help gain access to their determined goal level, where they must reach the finish line to win.

Tracking
Universal Tracker
The APWorld is fully compatible with Universal Tracker. It is a YAML-free implementation (i.e. you don't need to have the YAML used to generate in your Players directory). All star rating target times are appended to location names.
