Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

General

Trap Chance

Percentage chance that any given filler item will be replaced by a trap.
This is a range option.

Randomization Options

Randomize Compatibility Chips

Randomizes compatibility chips. Each action that gets you them has as many checks as it would have chips normally. Each chip is an item.

Additional Compatibility Chips

Adds x amount of extra compatibility chips to the item pool (if there are not enough locations left, it will cut off). This only matters if compatibility chips are randomized.
This is a range option.

Death Link

Knockback Link

Whether knockback link will be used. This protocol sends a link whenever the player receives knockback.

Knockback Link Sources

The sources that the player should send a knockback link from. Acceptable values in this set are: - Any (all sources) - Actions (all actions) - Enemies (all enemies) - Bounds (the level bounds) - Individual action names or enemy names, in constant case (such as RED_PILL or ZIG)

Goal Requirements

Actions Needed

The amount of actions needed to goal. If this is 37 or less, it is possible to win without any checks.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 110

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Not For Goal
  • 37: All Base Actions
  • 60: Default
  • 73: Base And Symbols
  • 97: Without Blueprints
  • 110: Max

Completion Shape

The extra shape that you will need to scan to goal, after all other requirements. If left blank, there is no ending shape needed. This must be either in binary or hexadecimal (starting with '0x' for hex, and either nothing or '0b' for binary) formats. Example: 0xfec68aba9ac6fe (The game's logo)

Needed Patterns

Local Items

Forces these items to be in their native world.

Non-local Items

Forces these items to be outside their native world.

Start Inventory

Start with the specified amount of these items. Example: "Bomb: 1"

Start Hints

Start with these item's locations prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.

Start Location Hints

Start with these locations and their item prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.

Excluded Locations

Prevent these locations from having an important item.

Priority Locations

Prevent these locations from having an unimportant item.

Share part of your item pool with other players.
