Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

When you die, everyone who enabled death link dies. Of course, the reverse is true too.

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Goal

What is considered the goal for Pokemon Pinball: Including multiple options will require all to have been met Pokédex: a required number of Pokémon are registered within the Pokédex Score: a certain target score is reached on either the Ruby or Sapphire board (must be registered to the high scores) Targets: certain specific target Pokémon have been captured Medals: receiving a certain number of Pokédex Medals from the multiworld

Difficulty

Whether logic should apply additional restrictions on locations Normal: All locations other than catching have additional requirements Hard: Simple board tasks such as hatching and evolutions have no additional requirements Expert: Longer board tasks such as 25+ multiplier bumper hits and catching Groudon/Kyogre have no additional requirements Master: No locations have additional requirements other than what is strictly required

Pokémon Targets

On Targets goal, what specific Pokémon are required for goal.

On Medals goal, maximum number of medals to include in the pool of items. The exact number may be less depending on settings.

Required Medal Count

Percentage of Pokédex Medals required to goal.

Goal Trigger

Defines what triggers goal once all targets have been reached. Ball: goal is triggered at the end of the current ball. Groudon/Kyogre: goal is triggered when Groudon or Kyogre are defeated while all goal targets have been met. Rayquaza: goal is triggered when Rayquaza is defeated while all goal targets have been met.
