Sonic Riders
What is the goal of Sonic Riders?
Beat the Babylon Guardian as Super Sonic by getting the 7 Chaos Emeralds
What does randomization do to this game?
The Sonic Riders Archipelago is played entirely through Free Race mode, found in the Normal Race option in the main menu. Players must complete tracks in high placements to earn items for their multiworld. As the multiworld progresses, more gear, characters, and tracks will be available to select.
There are no features related to Story Mode or Mission Mode.
What items and locations get shuffled?
All Extreme Gear, Free Race tracks, and characters are shuffled into the multiworld, as well as 7 "Chaos Emerald" items. This includes the "Hero" tracks, "Babylon" tracks, and the "Extra" tracks. The "Battle" tracks are not suffled into the multiworld
For each character, track, and gear in the game, checkable locations include
- Completing a race with each item.
- Getting top 3 with each item.
- Getting first place with each item. The latter two options can be disabled in your YAML settings for an easier experience.
Both the "Hero" and "Babylon" versions of tracks can be found independently. However, due to the design of the menu, you cannot select a "Babylon" course without first finding the "Hero" variant. This APWorld handles logic correctly in this scenario, to prevent you from getting stuck behind a track you cannot menu to. If you're stuck, try clearing out all possible
