Trails Beyond the Horizon

Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

A list of all games you have generated can be found on the User Content page.

Progression Balancing

Act Order

Ordered: follows the game's Time Chart. Each route needs its own item, and routes open in waves: Act I - A -> Act I - B -> Act I - C -> Rean 1 / Kevin 1 / Van 1 -> Rean 2 / Van 2 -> Van 3 -> Kevin 2 / Van 4 -> Van 5 -> Rean 3 / Kevin 3 / Van 6 -> Finale. Within a wave the routes can be played in any order. Actsanity (experimental, not supported yet): any route at any time. This needs skipping chapters in game, so generation refuses it for now.

Grim Garten

Grim Garten Chest Checks

The first N chests opened in each Grim Garten domain are checks. Chests are counted across every run of the domain (the Grim Garten is a repeatable random dungeon), so "Chest 3" is simply your third chest there.
This is a range option.

Grim Garten Repeat Clears

The Grim Garten can be replayed: clearing a domain again gives a check, up to this many extra clears per domain ("Cleared 2", "Cleared 3", ...). Counts every clear, so it works with any order of runs.
