Weighted Options

Weighted options allow you to choose how likely a particular option's value is to be used in game generation. The higher a value is weighted, the more likely the option will be chosen. Think of them like entries in a raffle.

Choose the options you would like to play with! You may generate a single-player game from this page, or download an options file you can use to participate in a MultiWorld.

Game Options

Progression Balancing

A system that can move progression earlier, to try and prevent the player from getting stuck and bored early. A lower setting means more getting stuck. A higher setting means less getting stuck.
This is a range option.

Accepted values:
Normal range: 0 - 99

The following values have special meanings, and may fall outside the normal range.
  • 0: Disabled
  • 50: Normal
  • 99: Extreme

Accessibility

Set rules for reachability of your items/locations. **Full:** ensure everything can be reached and acquired. **Minimal:** ensure what is needed to reach your goal can be acquired.

Treasure Chests Items

Determine the treasure chest item pool - Vanilla Shuffle: Shuffle the vanilla chest items into the item pool. - Completely Random: Generate new item pool.

Randomize who you start the game with. - Vanilla: Start the game with Kevin and Ries - Set: Start the game with specific character(s) - Completely Random: Start the game with completely random characters

First Starting Characters

Pick the first character to start the game with. Only used when Randomize Starting Character is set to Set.

Second Starting Characters

Pick the second character to start the game with. Only used when Randomize Starting Character is set to Set. If the same character from the previous option is picked, it will be treated as random.

Sealing Stone Characters Unlock

Randomize what you get from interacting with a sealing stone. - Vanilla: Sealing Stones will unlock their respective character. Will be replace with Kevin and Ries if the character is selected as a starting character. - Shuffle: Sealing Stones will unlock random characters. - Charactersanity: Sealing Stones will give random items. Characters are in the general item pool.

Character Starting Quartz

Determine the character starting quartz pool. They are obtained by interacting with the respective character's sealing stone. - Vanilla: Character Sealing Stone will give out the default quartz loadout for that character. - Vanilla Shuffle: The default starting quartz will be added to the general item pool. Character Sealing Stone will give out a completely random item for each starting quartz the character has in vanilla. - Random Quartz: Character Sealing Stone will give out a random quartz for each starting quartz the character has in vanilla. - Completely Random: Character Sealing Stone will give out a completely random item for each starting quartz the character has in vanilla.

Craft Shuffle

If enabled, characters crafts may differ from their default crafts. E.g. Estelle may get Joshua's Dual Strike instead of Hurricane.

Craft Placement

Shuffle craft unlocks into the item pool. Default: Crafts are placed in the default locations. Crafts: Craft unlock locations will always unlock a craft, but it will be for a random character. Anywhere: Crafts can be anywhere in the item pool.

Weapon Shuffle

Shuffle Weapon unlocks into the item pool. Weapon unlocks are progressive based on weapon type.

Craft Level Offset

Level offset applied to craft unlocks. For example, if set to -2, you will receive all crafts 2 levels earlier that you would otherwise. This reduces grinding. Modifying this option to extreme amounts may lead to out of logic location checks. This is because logic assumes that you will get crafts at their default level.
This is a range option.

Item & Location Options

Local Items

Forces these items to be in their native world.
 

Non-local Items

Forces these items to be outside their native world.
 

Start Inventory

Start with the specified amount of these items. Example: "Bomb: 1"

Start Hints

Start with these item's locations prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.
 

Start Location Hints

Start with these locations and their item prefilled into the ``!hint`` command.
 

Excluded Locations

Prevent these locations from having an important item.
 

Priority Locations

Prevent these locations from having an unimportant item.
 

Item Links

Share part of your item pool with other players.
This option cannot be modified here. Please edit your .yaml file manually.
