What is the goal of Void Sols when randomized?
The primary goal is to reach the Apex and interact with the World Spark after defeating various bosses throughout the world.
What items and locations get shuffled?
- Weapons: Various weapons like Swords, Dagger, Great Hammer, etc. for your starting weapon.
- Items: All items are shuffled.
- Item Pickups: Item pickups count as checks.
- Sparks of Light: If enabled, these can count as checks.
- Torches: If enabled, these can count as checks.
- Hidden Walls: If enabled, breaking hidden or cracked walls can count as checked.
- Misc: There are a few bespoke actions that count as checks.
- Sols: Different amounts of Sols act as filler items.
- Enemies: If checked, most enemies will be new random enemies. Bosses and some enemies will not be shuffled.
Which items can be in another player's world?
Any shuffled item can be in other players' worlds.
What does another world's item look like in Void Sols?
Items appear as standard item pickups in-game. A notification UI will display when an item is sent to another player.
When the player receives an item, what happens?
When a player receives an item, the new item notification pops up, and it is added to their inventory. If it's a weapon or equipment, it can be equipped at a light spark.
