The player settings page for this game is located here. It contains all the options you need to configure and export a config file.

What does randomization do to this game?

All abilities, pagies, play coins, and mollycools are changed to location checks.

What is the goal of Yooka-Laylee when randomized?

The goal remains the same: To complete the game by receiving 100 pagies and beating Capital B.

Which items can be in another player's world?

All abilities, pagies, play coins and mollycools. Some abilities can be forced to be available early on to prevent you from being blocked early on.

What does another world's item look like in Yooka-Laylee?

All pickups remain visually unchanged, regardless of what the pickup is.

When the player receives an item, what happens?

Currently, a small notification in the top left will appear. This may be changed in future iterations.

Are there any limitations compared to vanilla Yooka-Laylee?

None at this time.
