How to play

This guide assumes you know how to play the game, more or less.
For controls & other information, look at the Game Page. The archipelago wiki page also has helpful info.

Download "pixeldraw.apworld" and the archipelago launcher
Either open the downloaded "pixeldraw.apworld" or the "Install APWorld" option in the launcher.
You can then open the "Options Creator" and select "PixelDraw" from the list to generate an options file (yaml).
Once you fill out the file, click "Export Options" and save it to the "Players" folder in the archipelago directory (C:\ProgramData\Archipelago\Players on windows).
After this, open the "Generate" option and wait for it to complete.
Click the "Host" option, wait for it to complete (do not close the terminal), or upload the generated world to Archipelago.
Open your game according to the instructions on the itch page (however, it is recommended to open the ".console.exe" instead so you can see server messages).
Once you open the game, open the pause menu and choose the "Archipelago" tab. (you might have to scroll along the bar if your resolution is low)
Enter the appropriate ip in the "IP" box:

Enter the port in the "Port" box, found as the last numbers in the "server listening on" or after the ip at "Hosting game at". (or on the archipelago site)
Enter your slot name (name of the options (yaml) file you generated earlier) into the "Slot" box.
If there is a password for your slot, enter it in the "Password" box.
After this is ready, click "Connect" and wait for the information box to retract as conformation. You should see your join information in the middle console.

In the options creator, you will see options for deathlink as well as knockbacklink. These are just the defaults, and you can change these values at any time in the client. To do this, open the menu and scroll until you find the "AP Links" tab. This tab lets you control the values for both links, as well as enabling/disabling them.
