Yooka-Laylee Randomizer Setup Guide

Required Software

• Yooka-Laylee (Any PC platform, such as Epic or GOG, should also work)
• YLRandomizer

Installation Procedures

1. Install Yooka-Laylee.

2. Install YLRandomizer into Yooka-Laylee.

a. Find your Yooka-Laylee installation location. For Steam, this is normally under C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/yooka-laylee.

b. Extract the contents of the latest release of YLRandomizer into your installation folder.

3. Open Yooka-Laylee and proceed to the main menu. If installed correctly, by the time the main menu appears, a box in the top left of the screen prompting you for a server, username, and password should be present, and you should have control of your mouse.

Joining a MultiWorld Game

1. Ensure you're on the Main Menu with YLRandomizer loaded.

2. Enter the server address (for example, archipelago.gg:12345), username, and optional password into the boxes

3. Press Enter or click on the Connnect button

4. Once connected, you can proceed to start a new game in any slot.
